Jenna
Owner
With over a decade of experience in dog walking and pet care, Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every pup she meets. She successfully ran a dog walking company in downtown Toronto before relocating to Kitchener-Waterloo, where she built her business from the ground up once again.

Jenna has a strong background in the pet care field and is fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind. She’s also a dedicated animal lover who has volunteered with dog rescue organizations and is a proud pet parent to two beloved rescue dogs, Dolly and Happy.
​
Jenna offers a warm, welcoming, and safe home environment for boarding. Her bubbly personality and genuine love for animals quickly make her a favorite among the dogs in her care.

Rachel has been a professional dog walker for over three years and has recently adopted a rescue dog from Mexico, Quinn. With an interest in behaviour and body language, Rachel provides play and basic training for her pups.

How do I get started?
Before joining our group, we kindly request that your dog participates in a trial walk. This gives us the opportunity to become acquainted with your furry friend, assess their leash and social skills with the pack, and ensure a seamless integration into our wonderful group! Feel free to reach out to us to schedule your dog's first adventure!
What is the service minimum?
All our services require a minimum of 1-2 days a week to qualify.
What region do you service?
We service the Kitchener, Waterloo and St. Jacobs region.
What are your training principles?
At Goldie Hound, we wholeheartedly recognize the uniqueness of every dog. We understand that each furry companion has distinct needs when it comes to walking in groups or participating in our pack-related activities. That's why we embrace a diverse range of training tools and styles, always prioritizing positive reinforcement to foster a serene and well-behaved environment. Your dog's individuality is at the core of our approach, ensuring a harmonious experience for every member of our pack.
What are your booking requirements?
We require a minimum of one day a week for group walks. Any additional walks will be based on availability and can be made online. All walks will be put into the morning or afternoon 3-hour walking window. Pickup and drop-off is either in the morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (12-3pm) timeframe.
How many dogs are in a group hike?
We walk a maximum of 6 dogs in a group. Groups are based on geography and dog compatibility.
Do you provide daycare services?
We offer 6-8 hours of doggy daycare in your home with a sitter. Scheduling is based on availability. Regular clients only.
Do you offer double pack hikes?
We offer two-pack hikes between 9am-3pm for our regular clients.
Do you offer weekend or holiday service?
We provide weekend and holiday booking based on availability. An additional service fee of $5 will be added for weekend walks $10 for appointments on holidays. Regular dog walks and dog hikes are paused on stat holidays.
Do you offer boarding?
We offer In Your Home boarding to our regular clients.
What is your weather policy?
In the event of unsafe weather conditions, walks will be cancelled. We follow the City of Waterloo’s School Bus cancellation policies.
What gear do I need to provide for my dog?
All dogs need a martingale collar and properly fitted harness.
Does my dog have to be spayed and neutered?
​All dogs must be spayed and neutered for Pack Play.
